Welcome to Buzzy Network ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our website, mobile application, or any other products or services offered by Buzzy Network (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Buzzy Network.

These Terms apply to all users of the Services, including employers and teenage users (ages 14-18) who access or use the Services, whether as a guest or registered user.

2. Eligibility and Account Creation

2.1 Age Requirements: Our Services are designed for two primary user groups:

  • Teen Users: Individuals between the ages of 14 and 18 years old
  • Employer Users: Individuals at least 18 years of age representing organizations that wish to hire teens

2.2 Parental/Guardian Consent: Users under the age of 18 must obtain the consent of a parent or legal guardian before creating an account or using the Services. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you have such consent.

2.3 Account Creation: When creating an account, you must provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law
  • Post false, inaccurate, misleading, defamatory, or libelous content
  • Post any private or personal information of another person without their consent
  • Harass, abuse, or harm another person, including sending unwelcome communications to others
  • Impersonate or misrepresent your affiliation with another person or entity
  • Promote work opportunities that violate child labor laws or regulations
  • Attempt to disrupt or compromise the security of the Services
  • Create multiple accounts for deceptive or fraudulent purposes

4. Employment Opportunities

4.1 Compliance with Laws: Employer Users must comply with all applicable youth employment laws, including federal, state, and local regulations regarding work hours, types of permitted work, and safety requirements for minors.

4.2 Appropriate Opportunities: All job listings must be appropriate for teenage workers and comply with applicable child labor laws. We reserve the right to remove any job listing that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be inappropriate, unsafe, or non-compliant with applicable laws.

4.3 No Guarantees: Buzzy Network does not guarantee that Teen Users will find employment or that Employer Users will find suitable candidates through our Services.

5. Subscription and Fees

5.1 Fee Structure: Certain features of our Services may require payment of fees. All fees are listed on our website and are subject to change with notice.

5.2 Billing: By providing a payment method, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees to that payment method. If automatic billing fails, we may issue an electronic invoice indicating that payment is due.

5.3 Refunds: All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by law or at our sole discretion.

5.4 Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation will be effective at the end of your current billing cycle.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Content: The Services and all content and materials included on or within the Services, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, are the property of Buzzy Network or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 Your Content: By posting content on or through the Services, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use, modify, publicly display, reproduce, and distribute such content for the purpose of providing and promoting the Services.

7. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

7.1 "As Is" Basis: THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

7.2 No Endorsement: We do not endorse any User or job opportunity and are not responsible for the conduct of any User, whether online or offline. Users are solely responsible for their interactions with other Users.

7.3 Limitation of Liability: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BUZZY NETWORK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Buzzy Network and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) that arise from or relate to: (a) your use of the Services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any rights of another; or (d) your conduct in connection with the Services.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action against Buzzy Network must be brought in the courts of Nashville, Tennessee.

  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

5. Parents and Guardians

5.1 Parental Rights: Parents and legal guardians of Teen Users under the age of 18 have the right to review information collected from their child, request that it be deleted, and refuse to allow further collection or use of their child's information.
